Welcome!
You've found the web site for Trailblazer Coaching and Jim Earley.
I'm providing this introduction because, if you don't know me, and you
don't know the motivation behind the site, you might wonder why some of
the material and features are here.
The simple explanation: I like connecting people to resources.
There are actually just two menu items of the site that
relate directly to what Trailblazer Coaching is about; the rest are things
I find interesting and hope you do too. In other words, there's a lot
here you might click on and wonder what it has to do with coaching; in
many cases, nothing. Hopefully in all cases, however, you'll see it as
something that would be useful to some people in achieving their goals
and dreams.
If that's enough of a disclaimer then dive into the site. If you want
more, below I add some details to each of the menu items.
The two menu items that are about Trailblazer Coaching include:
As for the other menu items, they usually include the following:
- Start Here --
- What's new -- If you're a regular visitor to the site, a peek here will let you know what I've added or changed.
- Welcome -- This page.
- Networking
- This was
the first feature I added hoping you'd find it useful. It's a data base
of people I know well or have at least met, most of whom offer products
or services that might be useful to businesses. Yes, I've included my
mechanic Skip, my new favorite restaurant (Singapore!) and some personal
services, too.
- E-Zine -- This is a monthly e-mail I distribute to folks that discusses goals, milestones and accomplishments
- Resources -- This tab includes lots of stuff:
- ADD & Entrepreneurs -- This is a particular interest of mine. Experts used to say that Attention Deficit Disorder did not occur in adults. One reason why this appeared to be true is because most people with ADD found careers that allowed them to take advantage of their ADD as a strength. Some say most entrepreneurs have ADD characteristics.
- Articles -- If a friend has been written up, has written something, it will show up here.
- Assessments -- I've stumbled onto some useful on-line assessments. I provide their links here.
- Books -- I try to read regularly and if I read something I like, I'll share it. A warning here: I'm a coach so most of what I read is what a coach will find interesting. If in your work, you're trying to be a more effective coach, leader, manager or communicator, you may find what I like interesting. If not, you'll probably think some of it is off the wall.
- For Coaches Only -- If I find something of particular interest to coaches, it will be included here. That includes my weblog about my experiences and thoughts about coaching.
- Giftedness -- This is another particular interest of mine.
- Goal Setting -- This includes my monthly E-zine.
- Interviews -- Every month I (try to) add a interview you can actually listen to with someone I think has something interesting to say. Sometimes I get permission to include highlights from speeches, videos or audio programs.
- Newsletters -- Things
I've written. Don't get the idea that I publish a regular newsletter;
I don't. But I did years ago and I've included a couple of oldies.
- Specialized Coaching -- These are links to friends who offer some really interesting approaches to coaching.
